One of the best movie I ever watched. Whole story is so engaging that you will not notice that movie is of the 3.5 hr .

Bridge on River Kwai

Movie ends with word “… madness!”.
Its a disciple,honour, order and self respect as much as madness. This movie shows second world war Japanese occupied Burma.
Movie Bridge on River Kwai is most certainly a British propaganda of their greatness . At the same tome ..subtly ..it’s about military pride and humanness. Story is imaginary.
The British POW ( including Indian ) are forced to work for Japanese railway line. The captured colonel Nicholas tries to bring honour and order along with a mission during these torturous days to the prisoners.
Worth watching movie for War movie lovers.
And don’t miss the whistle of “Badluram ka badan Jamin ke niche hai ….” of Assam rifles. 😇
